Dr. Norman Smith
NORMAN SMITH has logged five decades in higher education, more than 30 years as a president or chancellor of colleges and universities in the US and overseas, including President Emeritus of two New York institutions, Wagner College and Elmira College. Other presidencies include Suffolk University Boston and Richmond The American International University in London (England). He has served as Assistant Dean of two Harvard University graduate schools, Education and the Kennedy School of Government, where he also earned his doctorate and was a fellow of the Harvard Philosophy of Education Research Center. He has authored five books on higher education.
